AUDIO DESIGN ASSOCIATES REINVENTS MUSIC CONTROL WITH INNOVATIVE, AGGRESSIVELY PRICED TS-5000 TOUCH SCREEN AND MC-7000 MUSIC CONTROL FOR THE HOME

Denver, CO - September 6, 2007 - At this year’s CEDIA Expo, Audio Design Associates (ADA) -- the recognized brand of excellence in high-end custom installed electronics and a founding member of CEDIA – announced the introduction of the TS-5000 Touch Screen and MC-7000 Music Control.
Richard Stoerger, ADA’s VP and COO asks, “What do HD Radio, Sirius and XM Satellite Radio, iTunes via our iHome Multi-Center, iPods, Request and Escient have in common? They like to express themselves with up to five lines of text information. And for these talkative source components, ADA offers two aggressively priced controls (TS-5000 and MC-7000) that display all their data.”
The TS-5000 is 4-inch color TFT touchscreen that is fully self-contained, requires no programming, can display live motion video, and runs on only one Cat-5 cable (Note: Live motion video requires the ADA VSWH-8 Touch Screen Wiring Harness). The TS-5000 can be mixed and matched with other ADA Music Controls. Many dealers incorporate TS-5000’s in key rooms, using less expensive music controls in all other rooms. The TS-5000, while defaulting to a specific room, does feature an “Other Rooms” page that makes it easy to select another room, turn it on, control its source and adjust volume as well as tone levels. When these adjustments have been done, the TS-5000 resets to its default room. TS-5000 MSRP is set at $1,299.
The MC-7000 features navigation control like ADA’s popular MC-6111 Music Control but offers big, easy to read, five lines of text information with graphic icons and moving bars for volume and tone levels as well as additional transport functions. The MC-7000 requires only one Cat-5 cable. Like other ADA Music Controls, the MC-7000 can be wired to only six Cat-5 lines (in the event of a damaged wire) as well as older multi-room system wiring (Audio Ease, ADS, Audio Access, etc.). MC-7000 MSRP is set at $499.
Both the TS-5000 and MC-7000 are shipping September 2007.
