The Duo Tuner is a two-slot radio tuner that is only one rack space tall. Modules include standard AM/FM/WX (Weather Band) radio, XM Satellite Radio, Sirius Satellite Radio and HD Digital AM/FM/WX Radio. Tuners can be custom configured to hold one or two modules that can be mixed and match according to your specific requirements. Each module acts as an independent source component into an ADA multi-room system so that different people can listen to different broadcast in different rooms at the same time. These tuners also provide bi-directional control and feedback to keypad and touch screens. The XM, Sirius and HD radio modules can provide five lines of text feedback including station, artist and song information as well a genre and station name for XM & Sirius. This makes it easy to surf satellite radio stations by genre and once on a genre, surf just the stations within that genre. Each tuner also holds up to 30 presets that can be loaded and stored from the front of the tuner, its PC setup software or any keypad or control. In addition to the tuner and its modules, ADA also provides antenna combiners, extenders and splitters that make it possible to locate the antennas in the most ideal area of the home (typically an attic or roof location) and running them on a single RG6 coax cable to the equipment mainframe.
