IRL-5000 Eight-Source IR Controller

The IRL-5000 is device used in ADA multi-room systems that permits ADA keypads and touch screens to communicate with non-bidirectional components such as cable-boxes, satellite receivers, DVD & CD players, etc. While requiring the use of PC (running the IRL software) to learn IR commands and load them into it, the IRL-5000 can control as many as eight IR or serially controlled source components. Each IRL component port can be set to either IR flasher or direct serial input; IR repeating on or off; and for serial connections, if the data is normal or inverted. Each component port can be programmed with up to twenty-five functions and each function can be setup as a multi-step event (macro). The IRL-5000 also features source low-voltage tracking inputs (for connection to Cinema Suite, Suite 8100, Suite 8x8 and Suite 16) so that on and off events can be performed automatically. Several IRL-5000s can be used in any one system for control of more than 8 source components. The IRL-5000 is built into the Control Suite.
