IRR-5000 Peep-Hole IR Receiver
The IRR-5000 is a peephole based IR receiver that features an ADA Cat-Link RJ-45 connector. This makes it extremely easy to install and connect to the same wire harnesses that are used for keypads. For systems operating at ADA's normal 19,200 baud rate, a BRT-1 Baud Rate Translator will be required. As with all IR remote controls operating an ADA system, it is the IR remote that is programmed for a specific room, not the IR receiver. As such, taking the bedroom remote control into the living room will not mean that the remote control now activates the living room. It will still operate the bedroom. As such, ADA strongly recommends providing an IR remote control for each room that requires one.
