MC-5511 Superior Single-Gang Keypad

The MC-5511 Keypad or Music Control provides a simple operation in the form of a single-gang Decora control. To turn on a room, pressing the desired source button engages that source component. The transport buttons (<<, >, >>, etc.) permit you to control your source components. The volume up and down buttons permit you to adjust the volume level in the room. The MC-5511 can also be programmed by your installer to engage ADA's Party Group 1 command. Here, pressing and releasing a source button will turn on just the room you are in to that component. Further pressing of the source button will engage a transport function (disc skip, tuner preset skip, etc.). However, if you first press and hold the source button (instead of pressing and releasing), the source button will flash indicating that Party Group 1 has now been set to that source. Party Group 1 can include several rooms/zones enabling you to turn on the entire home with just one button press. While this feature is accessible when pressing the Mode button on all other ADA music controls, it is also available on the basic, yet powerful MC-5511. And like all ADA music controls, pressing the off button turns off just that room while pressing and holding the off button turns off the entire home.
