Stage 2

Inputting of digital audio and high-definition video signals into the Omega CB Switcher. For sources that are in remote rooms, the VCT-4 converts digital audio and HD video onto one Cat.-5 cable that can input directly into the Omega CB's DV-I Digital Audio & HD Video Input card. For several AV components located together, the VCT-32 converts up to 8 source components to Cat.-5 termination for connection to the Omega CB's DV-I card. For digital audio sources located at the mainframe, ADA offers the DA-I Digital Audio Input card which expands the audio inputs from 32 sources to 64 sources.

Stage 3

Wide-band and high-definition video and digital audio switching that takes place in the Omega CB Switcher chassis. For outputting audio and HD video to remote rooms and/or TVs via Cat.-5 Wire, the DV-O Digital Audio and HD Video Output cards are used (32 zones per card). For outputting digital audio and control signals to the Zone Controllers, the DA-O Digital Audio Output cards are used (32 zones per card). All wiring is via Cat.-5 wire.

Stage 4

Preamplification and power amplification for each zone using Omega CB Zone Controllers that come in three versions: preamplification only or balanced preamplification only that can be used in conjunction with ADA's line of multi-channel power amplifiers. ADA also offers an Omega CB Integrated Power Amplifier Zone Controller with eight-channels of power amplification. All zone controllers can operate as a multi-channel controller (7.1 or 5.1) or in "Quad" mode where four stereo rooms share the same source component but have independent control of acoustics including volume, tones, and on/off.
