The PTM-6150, first introduced in 1995 and immediately dubbed Home Theater Magazine's "Hot Pick", is an incredible six-channel power amplifier featuring plenty of power. Its high-current design is based on a 1500 Watt power supply that packs 250,000µF of capacitance across six MOSFET output devices per channel. Suffice it to say that the PTM-6150 can flawlessly drive even the most demanding speakers with ease. While typically employed in 5.1 home theater systems, the PTM-6150's sixth channel can be used to drive back surround speaker(s) or passive subwoofers. The PTM-6150 can also be employed in multi-room systems as a three-zone power amplifier - where superior sound is required.
