The Suite 4000 incredibly fits into any rack and any budget. But don't let its size fool you; the Suite 4000 is a pedigree ADA multi-room system that sounds amazing. The Suite 4000 features two cutting edge digital tuners - you select from Sirius, XM or HD AM/FM radio. HD radio is the new and subscription-free radio that works just like regular radio but with satellite quality sound and text information. In addition to the two independent tuners, the Suite 4000 also features two more audio inputs for sources like iPods via ADA's iBase docking system; Escient, Kaleidescape, and Request servers using the MSC-3 music server controller, or cable/satellite receivers, CD or DVD players, and even phonographs using ADA's PP-1200 phono preamplifier. All four sources can play simultaneously and independently in all four zones. Suite 4000 derives its design and sound from the Suite 8200 (best multi-room receiver by about.com). It's high-current amplifier sounds superior to any other multi-room receiver in its class and because the amplifier is current limiting, it can easily drive two pairs of speakers per zone. Zone 1 also features a line-level audio output that can be used to provide audio to a home theater system while still giving you the opportunity to use the internal amplifier to drive speakers in a nearby room. Alternately, the line-level audio output can vary with the room's volume level in order to drive an external power amplifier or powered subwoofer. The Suite 4000 is also completely self-contained featuring connectivity for four ADA music controls or touchscreens that you can mix and match. The Suite 4000 also has a rear panel RS-232 port for system integration with popular touchscreen control systems. The front panel RS-232 overrides the rear-panel port for system setup and room acoustical calibration. Like all ADA components, the Suite 4000 is hand-built with pride in the United States of America.
