VSWH-8 Video Wiring Harness for TS-5000s

The VSWH-8 is only used with TS-5000 Touch Screen and digitizes live motion video onto the touch screen's display. The TS-5000s do not require any additional wiring other than the one Cat.-5 wire running to it (two of the eight Cat.-5 wires are used for video). Only one video signal can be displayed at a timer per VSWH-8 regardless of the number of TS-5000s connected to it (up to eight per wire harness). Video is displayed on the TS-5000 at 16 frames-per-second, good enough to cue up a DVD or select a TV channel but more ideally suited for viewing video and surveillance cameras. The VSWH-8 can connect to the video output from an external switcher like the Video Suite or V-16 (System 16 system). It also features six composite video inputs that can be switched serially or via low voltage triggers. You can press buttons on the TS-5000 to bring up a preview screen for video sources or video can be automatically displayed when one of four low voltage trigger inputs (3-24V AC or DC) is activated. These triggers can include electronic eyes, doorbells, motion sensors, etc. When a trigger is activated, the cameras assigned to that trigger will automatically display on the TS-5000s, even sequencing between several cameras. Dwell time (how long a camera image is held) and cycle count (how many times all cameras are cycled through) are adjustable and when the cycle is finished, the TS-5000 returns to presenting its prior screen. This feature can be used in conjunction with the paging features on ADA multi-room systems. For example, when the doorbell is pressed, the door chime can play through room speakers while the TS-5000's cycle between multiple cameras covering the door.
