Suite 16 Video Matrix Switchers - HD Video & Digital Audio

While Suite 16 is most commonly used as a luxury multi-room audio system, its flexible architecture permits it to also be configured as a wide-band matrix video switcher. For example, an AVP-16 chassis populated with an HDTV-16 card (as well as an A-16 audio input card and P-16 preamplifier card) combines multi-room audio for 16 sources to 16 zones with the ability to switch 16 HD video signals and 16 digital audio signals, all in just on three rack-space chassis. Alternately with three V-16 cards, Suite 16 becomes a 16 x 16 component/HDTV video switcher. Using two AVP-16 chassis and five V-16 cards, three in one chassis and two in the second chassis and you have a 16 x 16 RGBHV video switcher. You can even add a sixth card to this configuration for switching digital audio. A Suite 16 configured for matrix video switching can be used in conjunction with VCT-4s, VCT-32s and VCR-4s that will permit distribution of the signals via Cat.-5 cable.
