VCR-4 & VCT-4 Digital Audio & 3-Band Video via Cat-5

The VCT/R-4 Converters permit you to run four channels over Category-5 cable. With the VCT-4 three channels of video and digital audio can be run up to 500 feet on Cat.-5 cable (1000 feet on Cat.-5E) to the VCR-4 which converts the signals back to 75 Ohm RCA jacks. Another video signal can be run in lieu of the digital audio signal. As such, a DVD player located in a remote room can have its digital audio and component video signal run to the central system mainframe located in another room. Alternately, the DVD player's composite video signal could be sent in lieu of the digital audio signal (along with the players component video signal). The VCT-4 (T = transmitter) and VCR-4 (R = receiver) are powered via a 12VDC transformer included with each device. The devices are sold separately.
