Keeping it Simple - All to often when it comes to technology, when you solve one problem, you end up creating another that needs to be solved. This is most certainly true with Suite 32 because as you increase the number of devices you can access in your home, yacht or business, you also complicate the ease in selecting what you want.

To solve this problem ADA has ingeniously developed Profiler, a component that revolutionizes multi-room entertainment. No longer is a multi-room system just all about inputs to outputs or more accurately, sources to zones. With Profiler, multi-room systems are just all about people - you and those who will use the system.

Profiler lets you create profiles for individuals that will access the system, even guests. When a profile is selected, just their source components become available dramatically limiting the number of buttons you have to worry about. And since source components are both readily available and affordable (a fraction of the system's overall price), it is not prohibitive to have the exact same sources for each household member.

For example, your system will include the same source components for each family member: their own AM/FM HD radio tuner, satellite radio tuner, cable box, satellite TV tuner, music server zone, and iPod dock. For a family of five, that would mean perhaps six of everything - 30 source components which is obviously not a problem for Suite 32.

With Profiler, instead of facing a control with five iPods or five XM tuners to choose from, you instead select your name on ADA's TS-8611 touch screen (Profiler ready keypad) or any other control system touch screen and up come only your six source components. With Profiler, it's that simple. Gone are the redundant and confusing source component buttons.

As you move from one room to another, you can have your sound move with you effortlessly. Profiler's "Follow Me" option makes it possible that once your system is on for you, pressing your name on additional controls automatically activates that component. With one press, the source you have already selected begins playing.

Best of all, Profiler eliminates the battle of sources which has long been a point of contention in homes where various family members have differing musical tastes. No longer will you have accept the fact that your spouse selected a different XM station from the one you were listening to or that your child just unplugged your iPod and inserted theirs. Since everyone has their own group of sources, you will never do battle over what device you want to play.

In addition to knowing what your specific sources are, Profiler also knows what your acoustical preferences are. So when you walk into a room and select the music server, the Profiler knows that it is you and that you prefer a jazz based acoustical preset. And when you switch to talk radio on your Sirius tuner, Profiler can adjust the acoustics to a flat sound ideal for radio broadcasters.

Profiler permits the creation of eight profiles and can be used with any ADA Suite multi-room system. Currently, the TS-8611 EU is ADA's first Profiler Ready control. Profiler can be used with most any third party control system because Profiler does all the work and eliminates the need for complex macros and costly programming.
